The Countdown to Mooresville is ON!!!

In just a little less that two weeks the state of North Carolina's best wrestlers will gather in Mooresville for the chance to earn State titles, trips to Fargo, Triple Crowns, and more! But first....we have one final weekend of great prep events for you to prepare with!

The 14th Annual Steve Catts Memorial is always one of Eastern NCs best spring tournaments, and this year will be no different as clubs from across Eastern NC gather for great Freestyle, Greco-Roman, and BEACH wrestling action! Join us at John Paul II Catholic School in Greenville for a great day on the mats AND in the sand!!

For wrestlers in Western NC, we have two great prep camp opportunties for you! First, the New River Wrestling Club will be hosting their annual State Champ "Boot Camp" in scenic Piney Creek, NC. Choose from the full camp experience for only $75, or come for the Saturday only sessions for just $40. Space for this camp IS limited, so get registered quickly!!

Sunday afternoon Gym-O in Belmont, NC will open their doors for the Klash of Clans State Champ Camp. This camp is only $20 per athlete and will include top level Freestyle and Greco-Roman instruction, as well as live wrestling activities.

Its also not too early to begin registering and making plans for the upcoming State Freestyle & Greco-Roman Championship, being held Saturday and Sunday May 4-5 at Mooresville High School in Mooresville, NC.

Its going to be a great two weeks coming up for wrestling in North Carolina! Good luck to all those heading to Vegas this week for the US Open, and we will see everyone else on the mats all across North Carolina as we "race" toward "Race City" May 4-5 for the State Championships!
