    Tar Heel Classic Champions Crowned

    41st Edition of the Classic Draws Top Talent to Chapel Hill

    The 41st Tar Heel State Classic was held this past weekend in Chapel Hill, with wrestlers from at least five different states competing. Top North Carolina wrestlers competed for North Carolina National Team positions, as well as earning points in the Top 50 Challenge Series.

    In the Small Club Division, Backyard Wrestling Club took home top honors in Freestyle, followed by Virginia Elite. Darkhorse Wrestling was your Large Club Champion, followed by Greenville Wrestling Club.

    In Greco competition Backyard Wrestling Club was tops in the small club, with Darkhorse earning runner up honors. Freco Wrestling Club earned top large club honors, followed by Greenville Wrestling Club.
