Youth Folkstyle Wrestling is underway across North Carolina, with many clubs reporting record turnout for their programs!

The first major youth league event of the season takes place this weekend at Mitchell HS in Ledger, NC with the HCYL Opening Day PLUS the Nothing But Neutral Takedown Tournament (open to all ages).

Eastern NC Youth League will also be kicking off events in November, and several other areas are planning to offer events this winter.

Looking ahead to January and February, North Carolina will host the USA Folkstyle Tour of America Hot Rod Blowout in Concord January 14th. The event will be a first-ever wrestling event at the famed Charlotte Motor Speedway!

Then February 3-4 youth and girls from across North Carolina will gather at the RISE SPORTS Complex in Bermuda Run for the Elementary and Jr. High State Championships.
