This year the 45th Annual Tar Heel State Classic  returns to Chapel Hill, NC! This year's State Classic will include wrestlers from multiple states including Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, and of course...NORTH CAROLINA!

This event is THE QUALIFYING EVENT for NC National Schoolboy, Cadet & Junior Dual Teams! The highest finishing wrestler in each weight/style will earn a slot on Team NC and the right to represent our state in National competition in Indianapolis, IN (Schoolboys), Love Park, IL (Cadets) or Tulsa, OK  (Juniors)

The Tar Heel State Classic is also a major event in the NC Top 50 Challenge Series!

A) If a wrestler competes and WINS both the Tar Heel and The State Championships, wrestler will earn FREE entry to SE Regionals. Must win in the same style to qualify. **Registration fee is applied to your national team invoice ONLY**

B) If they place top 3 in their weight class at SE Regionals and have met criteria from A, they will earn a $150 voucher to go toward other national team trips. Winners of SE Regionals will earn $200 vouchers!  Limit one voucher per wrestler.
