The National Wrestling Coaches Association is bringing their CEO Leadership Academy to Asheville, North Carolina this fall. Developed by Michigan State's Dr. Dan Gould and modeled after the NWCA's College CEO Academy, the Scholastic CEO Academy was created to help wrestling coaches in many critical areas such as: fundraising, recruitment and retention of athletes, communication strategies, working effectively with parents, and leading as a transformational wrestling coach. In addition to high quality professional development for coaches, this program is FREE of charge and completely funded by the NWCA and the US Marine Corps. The Leadership Academy is also partnering with Eblen Charities, Headlock on Hunger, and the Asheville Wrestlers in Business Network to provide a host site and lunch for attendees. - Complete a 360 evaluation self-assessment.
- Attend the 6-hour in person Asheville workshop led by an NWCA facilitator and veteran mentor coaches from North Carolina. Lunch provided.
