Top wrestlers of all ages will gather this weekend at Chapel Hill High School for the 47th Annual Tar Heel State Classic! The event features freestyle and greco-roman competition over two days, with some of the most talented wrestlers from across the southeast competing!

For 14U, 16U, and Jr. athletes, the Tar Heel Classic is the qualifying event for Team NC National Dual teams, with the top North Carolina wrestler in each weight earning the right to represent North Carolina in competition this summer.

For 16U and Jr. winners this weekend, this is also the first opportunity to qualify for 16U/Jr. Nationals in Fargo.

Early registration continues through 12 Noon on Wednesday. Entry is $40 for one style, or $60 for both styles.
