Next Saturday March 15th Team NC/USA Wrestling will offer TWO great events, both supporting causes much bigger than wrestling.

In western North Carolina, the 2025 Blacklight Bash will take place at Mitchell High School in Ledger. Billed as a "girls tournament with a boys division", the Blacklight Bash has become one of the springs most popular local tournaments, with its unique blacklight environment and three styles of wrestling action on tap. Funds raised from this event go to support the S. Matthew Baynard Foundation which  helps provide financial assistance to young athletes who otherwise would not be able to participate in sports as part of its mission. 

In eastern North Carolina, its Warriors to the Rescue at East Wake High School in Wendell, NC. This event will donate its proceeds to support wrestling programs in Western NC that are still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Helene. Both Freestyle and Greco-Roman will be on tap as the spring slate of Olympic styles continues to expand.

So pick one of these two great event and get registered this week! Lets grow the Olypmic Styles in North Carolina AND support some worthwhile casues in the process!!
