Team NC's largest delegation to the 16U/Junior Nationals  in a decade fit right in to the record-setting week in Fargo!

Nearly seven thousand wrestlers, including fifteen hundred women participated in ths years event. Both numbers eclipsed previous records.

Women's freestyle wrestling celebrated its twentieth anniversary as part of the event, while Greco-Roman celebrated its fiftieth year. Also, new this year was the addition of beach wrestling. Over on e hundred atheltes participated in the inaugural beach wrestling event.

Team North Carolina brought twenty eight men and nine women as competitors, twelve coaches and team leaders, and  two officials. This year's participation represented the largest state delegation in over a decade.

Cam Stinson was an All-America at 113lbs. in Cadet freestyle, while Jeremiah Price earned AA status with this 8th place finish in Junior Freestyle.
