The 2022 Frank E Rader Southeast Regional Championships are returning to North Carolina  THIS WEEKEND! The brand new Harrahs Resort and Casino Events Center in historic Cherokee, NC will be the site of this years Regional Championships, featuring wrestlers from nine states and beyond.

The event offers Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman for all age groups 6U-Junior divisions, as well as seperate women's divisions for folkstyle and freestyle.

May 21-22 USA Beach Nationals are also back home in Carolina Beach! The event held in Jacksonville, FL last spring drew wrestlers from across the nation as they seek to earn the title of National Champion as well as qualify for entry into the UWW Beach Wrestling World Championships later this fall.

Beach Nationals also kicks off the first ever USA Beach Wrestling Tour of America, which will allow wrestlers to earn points at each event, and top points earners being recognized later this fall.

Finally, May 22 the North Carolina Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame will host their annual banquet and awards dinner at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill.  Ron Bare, Tim Ellenburger, Rodney James, Al Crawford, Greg Hinson, and Barry Justus will be this year's inductees.
