Twenty of North Carolina's most talented women trekked west to attend the USA Women's Folkstyle Nationals .

Thirteen Juniors, six 16U girls, and one 14U  represented Team NC against a field of nearly eight hundred girls from across the nation.

Five North Carolina women earned All-American status in the event. They included Leah Edwards (7th), Kennedie Brantley (6th) , Tasia Neadeau (8th), Anasette Cooper (6th), and Hope Horan (8th) .

The group represents North Carolina's first group to ever attend Women's Folkstyle Nationals, and was the largest North Carolina delegation to any national USA event ever.
