Spring Schedule Features Unique Mix of Events!

Spring Wrestling is BACK in North Carolina! With COVID restrictions easing, events are starting to return, and Team NC is committed to offering wrestling opportunities at every level! We are optimistic that the NCHSAA season will take place with no issues, but we are also offering MANY OTHER wrestling options for wrestlers of all ages!

April will feature several local events, including the 1st Palmer Brothers Classic in Durham, the 10th Annual Steve Catts Memorial tournament in Greenville and the Falcon Fury in Hendersonville. There are also several major national events, including USA Folkstyle Nationals, the US Olympic Team Qualifier, and UWW Cadet/U15 and Futures Nationals. We are also partnering with SCUSA to promote a couple of their upcoming events in April (April 3 and 17).

May kicks off with STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS!  May 1st-2nd in Charlotte will be North AND South Carolina State Freestyle/Greco-Roman Championships for ALL AGES, as well as the Carolinas Open Folkstyle Championships. This is your chance to earn the coveted TRIPLE CROWN award, by winning all 3 styles, and you can do it all in one weekend! High School and middle school wrestlers who have matches on Friday and Saturday can use their weigh-ins from those matches for the event!

Also in May Team NC will be looking for ladies who want to compete in the USA Women's Nationals. And May 20-23 USA and Spartan Combat are partnering to bring you the US Beach Nationals, Frank E. Rader SE Regionals, and Spartan Nationals, ALL IN ONE HUGE WEEKEND OF WRESTLING!

June is National Teams month, as we look for coaches and wrestlers to help fill the 14U, 16U, and Junior National Dual Teams.

Finally, in July we will host the BODYARMOR State Games in Raleigh NC, featuring FOUR styles of wrestling in one day! And for women, cadets, and Juniors looking to compete at the highest level, Women's/Cadet/Junior Nationals celebrates it 50th year! You won't want to miss this celebration in Fargo of the World's Greatest Tournament!
