  1. All entries in the Men’s Senior Division will need to be done by the night before, either online in advance, or in person at the Lazy Pirate.
  2. Men in the Senior division will not be able to weigh in on Friday night at the Pirate. All Senior men’s weigh-ins will  be on Saturday morning down at the beach.

(This exactly matches what is going on with the Women’s Beach Trials in Las Vegas also)

Another point to understand is that the finals of the men’s Beach Nationals will be a best-of-three series. (all of this will be in the procedures and can be adjusted on the Beach Nationals website.

U.S. Senior-level wrestlers have a unique opportunity to qualify to represent the United States at a new multi-sport international event, the ANOC Beach World Games, set for Mission Beach in San Diego, Calif., October 12-13.

Beach Wrestling is one of only 15 sports which will be included in this historic event. The competition is endorsed by the International Olympic Committee, with the Beach Wrestling competition being organized by United World Wrestling. The U.S. team in all of the participating sports will be managed by the U.S. Olympic Committee.

As the host nation, the United States is guaranteed one Beach Wrestling athlete in each of the eight weight classes, four for men and four for women. USA Wrestling is hosting a separate Beach World Games Trials for women and another one for men in order to determine the U.S. team at the ANOC Beach World Games.

The Women’s Beach World Games Trials will be held as part of the U.S. Marine Corps 2019 Open Wrestling Championships in Las Vegas, Nev., April 28. It will be held on Sunday morning, right at the South Point Arena, the site of the U.S. Senior Open, which concludes the day before.
