EVENT FAQ

1. Will you be dropping tenths at weigh-ins?

A. No. Wrestlers must make the weight they are registered for. Wrestlers may attempt to weigh-in on all scales available, AND wrestlers may make multiple attempts to make weight as long as weigh-ins remain open.

2. What is required to Coach at this Event?

You must be a Registered USA Coach (now called "Wrestling Leaders" ) to coach at this tournament.  Please note that you must be a registered USA WRESTLING LEADER to obtain a coaching credential. Memberships WILL REQUIRE 7-10  DAYS TO COMPLETE, INCLUDING BACKGROUND CHECK AND SAFESPORT CERTIFICATION, SO PLEASE OBTAIN THESE CREDENTIALS IN A TIMELY MANNER.

3. Is outside food allowed?

A. No. Athletes may pack waters and snacks, but outside food such as sandwiches, coolers, etc. is not permitted.

4. I understand this is a "State Event". What does that mean?

A. The State Championships are one of the State Events hosted by NCUSA each year. Proceeds from these events benefit the host club AND North Carolina USA Wrestling. It is your continued support of our STATE EVENTS that help make other activities of our association possible! We hope you will choose to make these events a PRIORITY for your club's participation!
