Tar Heel State Classic Results

Strong competition for Freestyle & Folkstyle titles!

A great weekend of wrestling ended Saturday with RoCo Wrestling Club earning top large club honors and Greenville Wrestling Club taking the top small club spot in Freestyle competition. Cardiac Kids were the runners up in Large club freestyle, while Top Dawg Wrestling Club was runner up in small club competition.

Greco Roman competition Friday night resulted in Cardiac Kids being crowned as the Greco large club champions, with Backyard Wrestling Club of Rocky Mount earning the top honors in the small club division. Large Club runner-up was ROCO wrestling, while small club runners-up were Greenville Wrestling Club.

Wrestlers from 47 clubs across North Carolina, Viginia, and South Carolina participated in this year's event!

Special thanks to Chapel Hill High School and the Cardiac Kids Wrestling Club for their work in hosting this year's event!

NCUSA Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony

  • NCUSA will hold its annual awards and recognition program as well as our annual meeting on Sept. 6th. The location is currently TBA.

    Activities at this year's meeting will include:

    Council meetings (Coaches Council, Officials Council, Clubs Council)

    Awards Presentations for Cadet & Junior Wrestlers of the Year, Coach of the Year, Frank Rader Person of the Year, Regional Awards, All-Americans, Top 50 Award Winners, Triple Crown Award Winners, and more.

    Annual meeting and elections.

    Special Guest presenters and clinics for Coaches and club leaders.

    NCUSA Board of Directors meeting will follow the annual meeting.

    This meeting and program are free and open to the public. You must be a current member in good standing to participate in voting.

    We hope you will make plans to join us for a great day of celebration, planning, and preparation for the 2014-15 season!
