First Female & Youngest Ever Bring Home Gold

The Rio Olympics are in the books, and one word sums them up perfectly- Historic!

Team USA's first Gold medal came in perhaps the biggest match of the Olympic competition. Reigning world champ Helen Maroulis wrestled her way in history against three time Olympic Champion and Japanese legend Yoshida, and became the first ever women's Olympic gold medalist. In men's competition, Kyle Snyder closed out the final day of competition with a thrilling win over Khetag Goziumov of Azerbaijan, 2-1. The win made Snyder the youngest Olympic Champion ever, and capped a historic year in which he won an NCAA, World, and Olympic title in the same calendar year.
