NCUSA is proud to announce the 1st Annual Headlock for Hunger Tournament!

North Carolina USA Wrestling is Partnering with Eblin Charities and the City of Asheville to bring you the 1st ever Headlock On Hunger Tournament! This is sure to be one of the Premier Youth Events of the Spring Season! The tournament will take place on the campus of UNC-Asheville ON THE SAME DAY as the Southern Conference Wrestling Championships! Participants will literally be walking distance from some of the best college wrestling in the country on this special Saturday!

Not only will wrestlers from several states be enjoying a top tier folkstyle wrestling tournament for themselves, but they will be able to see their favorite SoCon teams in action as well as wrestlers battle to qualify for the NCAA Championships! Entry Fee is only $20 per wrestler. Spectators and coach's admission is $10. Best of all your entry/admission for the Headlock On Hunger Tournament ALSO GETS YOU IN TO THE ENTIRE SOUTHERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT!!! THAT'S TWO GREAT EVENTS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!!

Best of all, proceeds from this event will go to support the Eblin Charities Headlock On Hunger Campaign! So COME!! Enjoy a great day of wrestling both as a participant AND a FAN!! And all while supporting a GREAT cause as we put the HEADLOCK ON HUNGER!

Where: UNC-Asheville Kimmel Arena/Justice Athletic Center (Student Activities Center)

Weigh-ins: Friday night 7:30-9pm OR Saturday morning 7:45-8:30AM

Cost $20 entry (register through www.ncwrestling.org) Online registration ends at 7pm Friday. You may also register on-site during the FRIDAY weigh-ins. (No walk-ins Saturday)

Wrestling begins at 9:30am Saturday

Your Entry includes admission to the SoCon Wrestling Championships. SoCon Championship finals are at 7pm Saturday night.
