NCUSA Wrestling Officials College/ Pre-Season Tournament

• 9:00am EDT - 4:00pm EDT October 25th, 2014

• All NCHSA Officials and anyone else interested in becoming a stronger folkstyle official should make plans to attend this "Officials College". The morning will feature classroom clinicians, rules reviews, and film study. The afternoon will feature a "live action" tournament where experienced officials will work along side beginners in a live training environment. WRESTLERS ARE WANTED FOR THIS ROUND ROBIN STYLE TOURNAMENT USING MADISON WEIGHTS!

  9-11:30 USAW Bronze Coach Certification course, balcony
  9:15 - 9:45 Weigh in natural weight
  9:45 am Officials register for clinic credit
  10:00-11:30 Officials Classroom / Mat clinic rules, position, anticipation, penalties, 
  10:00-11:30 Wrestler’s Clinic on mat
  11:30 Mat Clinic for Coaches & Wrestlers focus on new rules and interpretations
  11:45 Wrestling tournament begins
  1:45 ref’s scrimmage credit awarded
  Tournament continues conclusion
